Most of what is written about this is either a demo or a warning. Neither one helps on a Tuesday, when you have a real job, a real inbox, and forty minutes.
This is the pathway for problems that will not generalize. An app can only help you if your problem looks like everybody else's. A lot of them do, which is why Labs exists. But how you actually work — what your week is made of, where it breaks, what you are unwilling to hand over — is specific enough that the answer has to be built with you rather than shipped to you.
Book a 30 Minute ConversationA professional who keeps hearing that this should be saving them time and has not found where. You do not need a strategy. You need one honest look at your actual week and a place to start that survives contact with it.
The same work, larger. What to try, what to leave alone, what it will cost in attention rather than licenses, and how to tell in ninety days whether it did anything.
Nobody can promise you an outcome here and the people promising one are the reason this field is hard to trust. What is on offer is judgment, honestly applied, by somebody who has done the work himself.
Sixteen years in the Air Force across aviation maintenance, defense acquisition, digital transformation and contractor program management — which is to say, years of watching organizations adopt technology well and badly, and learning to tell the difference early.
And several months of building real things this way, at close range and at speed, with all the parts that do not appear in a demo: the reviews that catch a mistake before it ships, the checks that fail loudly instead of quietly, the moments where the fast path was the wrong one. Everything under Labs and Press on this site was built that way.
No client work has been delivered under this line yet. That is worth saying plainly rather than implying otherwise with careful wording. What exists is the record of my own work, and it is on this site for you to look at.
Pick whichever is honest about where you are.
Thirty minutes, on my calendar, at a time you pick. You will be asked what you want to work on before we meet, so the first fifteen minutes are not spent finding out.
Most people who are unsure will not book a meeting with a stranger, and that is reasonable. Send a paragraph instead. Tell me what your week looks like and where it breaks, and I will tell you honestly whether I am any use to you.
