In The Game Creations is a one-man company. I hit something my own life needed and could not buy, I build the way out because I need it to exist, and then I hand it to whoever else is stuck on the same thing.
What the finished thing looks like depends on the problem. Some become software. Some are too long to be an app and become a book. Some are only worth having out loud and become a show. And some will not generalize at all, because the answer depends on how you specifically work, so those get done alongside you.
The Four Pathways Why Any of This ExistsThese are not four businesses. They are four shapes the same habit takes. Each one is listed with where it actually stands right now, not where I hope it will be.
When the answer is software. Yield, Kindred, Cardcase and Foothold, including faith based discipline apps. Nothing is on the App Store yet and Cardcase is the closest.
When the answer is too long to be an app. Books for men who go first. Neither one is finished and neither is for sale.
When the answer is worth having out loud. Armchair Laymen: a dad and his ten year old son on college football, scripture, and what it takes to lead.
When the answer will not generalize. Getting AI into the work you actually do. Some problems depend too much on how one person works to ship as a product, so this one gets done with you.
Retired U.S. Air Force Major. Sixteen years across military aviation maintenance, defense acquisition, digital transformation, and contractor program management.
In August of 2010 there was a plaque above a staircase at Sheppard Air Force Base, and I walked under it twice a day going to and from a classroom that was preparing me for a life of mostly self-inflicted pain. It was Roosevelt, on the man in the arena. I read it the way you read a text to be analyzed, which was not what it was for. What I have mostly learned since is that my fear of what people think reliably goes to battle with my faith, and that it will keep a man on the sideline every time if he lets it.
Four years later my wife and I were fostering three children from three separate homes, and I was finding out how far short of the father I intended to be I actually fell. We adopted them. I did not become and am still not the father I want to be, and I am the father these children need. That is most of what I know about the difference between a technique and a life, and it is why none of the products here promise you a result.
This company is a personal venture built in my own time. Everything on this site is listed with where it honestly stands.
More about the founderIf one of these is the thing you are stuck on, say so. If it is the AI work, tell me what your week actually looks like and where it breaks.
